Ryan CO#3
For my final class observation assignment, I attended Andrew
Wilson’s reading class. Mr. Wilson started his class by going over the word of
the day which was “to thrive”, providing the definition and synonyms for that
word. Mr. Wilson followed that with a game encompassing the entire classroom.
Me and his students were tasked with describing three things that happened on
the weekend and I was to determine which of the three was a lie. I would be
given a point every time I was correct, while the class, working as a team,
would be given a point if I was wrong. I’m sorry to say that I lost in the end.
Afterwards, the class was assigned to read a series of poems, ending in the
computer lab where students worked on an upcoming presentation using PowerPoint.
It was a fun experience and one where I feel I learned a lot.
